class="alignleft size-full wp-image-85" title="charcoal grill" src="http://www.topgrills.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/charcoal-grill-e1307924317954.jpg" alt="charcoal grill e1307924317954" width="433" height="287" /></a>Because of their superior taste and relatively inexpensive price-tag, charcoal grills are some of the most popular grilling types.  For this reason, this type also has the highest number of options and choices.  When you’re out shopping for a charcoal grill, there are a few features, in my opinion at least, that you won’t want to go without.</p><p>First of all, I don’t recommend that you store your grill outside.  Unless you want to invest in a good grill cover and bring the grill in every time you have a storm, you’ll want to have a place to store your grill, such as a shed, a covered back porch, or a space in your garage.  To make storing your grill more convenient, you’ll want your grill to have wheels.  That way you don’t have to lug your grill around and risk back injury.  Wheels are definitely a feature that you’ll want to have in your charcoal grill.</p><p>The next feature also will make your life easier.  One of the things people complain about most with a charcoal grill is how long it takes to light successfully.  If you get a charcoal grill with a built-in igniter, you can cut down on the time and hassle.  You will also not have to use as much lighter fluid, which many people complain can make their food taste funny.</p><p>When you’re done grilling, clean-up is an important part of maintaining your grill.  With many models which are of a very cheap and simple design, you would have to wait til the grill cools off sufficiently before dumping the contents in a trash can.  As you can imagine, this is a tedious and awkward process and usually involves making a huge mess.  To avoid all this, you can get an ash-pan that allows for access from the bottom of the grill.  This will make clean-up much simpler.</p><p>Charcoal grilling is definitely the classic choice.  With a few features, you can have a grilling experience that is easy and makes great tasting food.</p><div

href="http://www.topgrills.net/grill-accessories-good-to-great/">Grill Accessories Good to Great</a></p>]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Once you have your grill, you may be wondering what accessories you need to make grilling possible, and what you’ll need to make it truly enjoyable.  There are a few &#8211; such as the heat source, a good pair of tongs, and a grill scraper &#8211; that are absolutely essential.  There are others that will make your grilling easier.  Let’s take a look at both to help you decide what you’ll need.</p><p>If you own or are purchasing a propane, charcoal, or a smoker grill, you’ll need to buy your fuel as well.  For the propane grill, that’s pretty obvious: a propane tank.  For charcoal, you’ll definitely need charcoal and, for extra flavor, may want to add some mesquite or hickory (or whatever ever type of) wood chips.  For a smoker grill, you’ll need good quality wood chips.  Without these supplies, you just have a nice looking grill, but no cooking.</p><p>Your most essential tool will be your pair of tongs.  Don’t scrimp on this tool.  If you want, this will be the only tool you really need because you can flip any sort of meat with it.  Make sure the handle is comfortable and the quality is high for this tool.</p><p>The last of the essential tools is the grill scraper.  For proper maintenance, you will need to clean your grill after each and every use.  The scraper will help you remove all the burnt pieces of meat and marinade that have collected on the grill bars.</p><p>The next category are what I consider to be great accessories, but not necessarily essential for every person who grills.  There’s the basting brush if you like to add flavor while you cook.  A grilling basket for making tasty veggies.  Metal skewers for kabobs.  If you don’t want to mess with tongs all the time, you could use a meat fork for steaks and a spatula for burgers.</p><p>With these tools, you will be well on your way to becoming a grill expert!</p><div

href="http://www.topgrills.net/a-heat-source-primer-for-bbq-grill-buyers/">A Heat Source Primer for BBQ Grill Buyers</a></p>]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you’re selecting a grill, the most important choice you need to make is what kind of heat supply that grill uses.  Let’s take a look at the three most popular choices -  charcoal, propane, and natural gas &#8211; and examine the pro’s and con’s of each choice.</p><p>First off, the cheapest of the heat sources is the charcoal grill type.  To use a charcoal grill, you would buy the charcoal briquettes online or at a local store, put them in the grill, light them, and wait up to 45 minutes before it would be time to put the meat on and start cooking.  Seems like quite an ordeal, no?  And indeed many people find cooking with a charcoal grill to be too time consuming and not worth the overall savings.</p><p>Next is the propane grill variety, a slightly more expensive choice, but also more convenient.  These grills cost more than charcoal grills, and the propane tanks that you will have to buy as refills also cost more than charcoal briquettes.  Propane grills, however, heat up quickly, and so you’ll be ready to cook with them almost instantly.  Overall, propane grill users find them to be refreshingly quick and easy to cook with.</p><p>Finally, there is natural gas grilling.  With natural gas grills, there’s no need to buy propane tanks, and the cost of natural gas is much cheaper.  The real price comes in setting up the natural gas.  You’ll also need a contractor to run a line to the natural gas pipe that is on your property.  And for some, natural gas grills aren’t even an option since there’s not natural gas offered in their area.</p><p>So there you have it.  You have lots of choices for what kind of grill heat source you can get.  With a little more research about the different features, sizes, and colors of grills, you’ll be ready to make your purchase!</p><div
